Valley Championships are this Tuesday!
Congratulations to our Junior Girls for winning the North Zone Championships last week!
For the Valleys, we will be back at Larch Hills on the same course.
Race Time for Juniors is 11:30am
We will leave RSS at 8:30am, so let's meet in the main foyer at 8:25am. We only have 6 athletes attending, so we do not need parent drivers to help with transportation. However, you are certainly welcome to attend the race. We'd love to have you cheer us on! Please let me know if you are interested because I can help organize a parent car pool! :)
There is a cold front moving through BC this week, so plan for wet, cold conditions, even snow.
For the race, consider gloves, a hat or headband, and some thin layers.
Bring plenty of warm clothing for warm-up and for after the race -winter jackets, warm-up pants, rain gear, etc.
Racers who qualify for Provincials need to let me know if you plan to attend these races in Surrey, BC on November 4th, 2023.
