On Tuesday, October 26th, we will attend the Valley Championships in Summerland.
About the Race
This will be an all day event for us and the races start at 11:30am. There will be timing chips (no more stickers!) and many schools from the Central Interior. It will be a big, fun race!
I have to register our team on Saturday and pay your registration fees. This will fee will be covered from the fees you have already paid, but I need to know if you are coming with us! I will contact your families today or tomorrow to confirm your plan.
Travel
We need to leave Revelstoke at 6:45am. Please be at the school at 6:40am so we can load, check our equipment and gear, and get on the road.
We should be back in Revelstoke by 5:30pm, but that will depend on the awards and the roads.
Provincials (Important!)
If you qualify for the Provincials as an individual or as part of a team (see criteria in the previous post), you need to know right after the race if you are willing/able to attend the Provincials in Vancouver on November 6th. This would be a 2-3 day trip leaving Revelstoke on the 5th and could cost $200-$400, depending on our group size, the length of stay, and our accommodation costs.
